Juliana Gutierrez
Juliana Gutierrez is a Human Rights Fellow at Hilton Parker LLC, where she supports litigation under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) and other civil-rights statutes. Her work focuses on research, case development, and advocacy aimed at combating systemic exploitation and advancing justice for survivors of trafficking and abuse.
Juliana is pursuing her B.A. in Political Science at The Ohio State University, specializing in Inequality and Justice with a minor in Women, Gender, and Public Policy. She is a Morrill Scholar, receiving a full-tuition scholarship for her academic excellence and commitment to social justice, and a John Glenn Fellow, selected through a competitive process to represent Ohio State in Washington, D.C., as part of the Washington Academic Internship Program.
Before joining Hilton Parker, Juliana interned with the Partnership for Public Service in Washington, D.C., where she contributed to leadership training and organizational outreach initiatives, and with the Law Offices of Valencia & Diaz, LTD, where she supported immigration and humanitarian visa cases. She also served with the Latino Coalition of Southwest Ohio, coordinating community outreach events and bilingual public service initiatives.
Juliana has been a dedicated mentor and leader through the Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) program, where she served as President of the CRIS Community Connectors at Ohio State, directing grant operations, fundraising efforts, and mentorship for immigrant youth. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Juliana brings a strong cross-cultural perspective to her human-rights work.
