From the start, our associates (and summer associates and Fellows) are trusted with meaningful responsibility: drafting substantive briefs, whiteboarding litigation strategy, interacting directly with clients, and preparing for trial and oral argument. You won’t be stuck doing only document review or research memos that never see the light of day.

Our new lawyers, summer associates, and Fellows are hungry for real experience and want to rapidly build the skills necessary to change society.
Summer Associate Program
Our firm typically offers 2-3 summer associate positions each year for current law students. We typically begin taking applications in February and March. To apply, send your resume, grades, and up to five writing samples (please not all from law school) to us by email.
Human Rights Fellowship
Hilton Parker LLC’s Human Rights Fellowship is designed for exceptional students who want early, real exposure to serious civil-rights litigation—and who are willing to be challenged accordingly. Recent Fellows have had the opportunity to write opening and closing statements for a real 5-day jury trial and to work on briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Fellows work directly on our human-trafficking, toxic tort, and human-rights cases, including matters involving vulnerable clients and complex, high-stakes litigation. Typically Fellowships last one or two years before law school.
